Enjoy the last week of summer in an intimate setting with only 6 available spots in the heart of Toulouse, France. Start the week right with a lovely breakfast in our indoor-outdoor living room and patio. Shortly followed by a Traditional Vinyasa Yoga in mid-morning to awaken the senses and center the mind. After this, you can lounge about or take a walk through the streets of toulouse. Then we will come back for a 2-hour Aerial Yoga session designed for all levels. In this workshop style class, you will learn how to use the hammock, straps, and a combination of both to develop that mind-body connection as we move through the air. After a rigorous session, you will get a chance to freshen up as you head out to dine in some of Toulouse's finest bistros or restaurants. The night closes down as we go through a 45-minute low hammock aerial restorative session followed by nightly meditation. A day will be reserved to take a tour through the japanese gardens where we will apply some mindfulness techniques we have learned in the zen gardens. In one week we will learn techniques to calm and center our minds, use our yoga practice as a form of moving meditation, and fly through the air in a safe yet exciting manner.

The house is fully equipped with WIFI, a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms fit for 2 people in each room. Beds can be adjoined as per preference. 2 WC, a courtyard garden with an indoor outdoor living area. Our studio is found within the premises–where we have a 5-meter ceiling fully stocked with all the accouterments necessary to hold our classes.
Food will be self-catering with the exception of breakfast, where we will present you with a variety of breads, cheeses, dairy, and fruits for you to enjoy. Guests can use the fridge as they prefer as well.
Sunday the 21st will be Arrival’s night where you will have the chance to settle in. Once everyone has arrived, we will open with a few welcome remarks from our host, teachers and facilitators. After which, we will step out to have dinner together where we can all get to know each other in a cozy setting. Before we close the night we will end with a short meditation session no more than 15 minutes.
Our normal day-to-day schedule is 3 yoga sessions a day with some meditation and journaling. We start with a traditional floor Vinyasa yoga practice where we will incorporate breath with asana as a form of moving meditation. Our 2nd session will be a 2-hour workshop style Aerial yoga session designed for absolute beginners to intermediate. You will learn to hang, fly and wrap in the fabric. We will take you step-by step through each pose using the hammock not only as an aid in developing your strength and flexibility, but as a tool to release anxiety that allows us to live in the present moment. After dinner you will experience a restorative form of yoga with the aid of the hammock in a grounded position. Expect it to feel like a light massage on your body combined with a mindfulness activity–a perfect way to end the night.
Part of the package is for you to enjoy the city. Our lengthy periods of free time for lunch allows you to enjoy the wonders of toulouse. We will have a mid-week excursion after morning yoga to enjoy the sights as we will only meet again for our nightly restorative yoga session. Our final Outing will be on Saturday where we will have our last dinner together (Location is to be determined). We will end the retreat on Sunday with breakfast and a last Vinyasa session before checkout as all good things must come to an end.

Your Teacher and Facilitator:
Jennifer Yusi
Jennifer Yusi has been teaching Vinyasa Yoga and Aerial Yoga since 2016. Originally a Registered Nurse, she realized that while she loved working with people, a clinical setting wasn’t for her. After some soul searching and working as an English teacher from Manila to Madrid, she found that her knowledge of anatomy and physiology combined with her love of yoga could be another way to be of service. By the summer of 2016 she acquired her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga certification through BRYCE Yoga under the tutelage of Dice Lida-Klein and Briohny Smythe. From there she acquired and specialized in Yoga Trapeze through Yogabody and Aerial Fitness with a certification for Beginner’s Aerial Sling under Spin City Aerial Fitness. She has taught hundreds of classes with approximately 500+hours of continuing education.
Ivan Pena Reutemann
Ivan is a personal trainer, functional training and weightlifting specialist. In 2017, he acquired his functional training certification under Orthos Fitness Training Center Certified by Real Federacíon Española de Gimnasia. His Personal training certification with a focus on wieghtlifting under Fedeacion Española de Halterofilia , Ivan will be in charge of the house, breakfast, and the facilities during your stay.
